Billing Administrator (FTC)

Alcumus ISOQAR is one of the UK's leading ISO certification bodies, auditing and certifying businesses against a range of ISO standards.

The Billing Administrator holds responsibility for supporting the Operational and Finance teams to invoice on time and correctly, and support management of account balances and transactions.

What that means day to day

What you’ll need to be successful

  • Raise and prepare customer invoices in advance of service delivery
  • Verify all billing information is calculated correctly including quantity to delivery and invoice
  • Confirm invoices to raise for invoicing teams
  • Link historic billing information to delivery activities
  • Support Financial and Operational teams on debt management
  • Workflow management & processing
  • Update records with new payments, balances and customer information
  • Investigate billing queries & credits


  • Proven experience as a Billing Administrator or general accounting experience
  • Adherence to laws and confidentiality guidelines
  • Competent with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal and written
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Commitment to maintaining a high standard and quality of work and ethics
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, openly sharing knowledge and skills within the team
  • Analytical and able to identify issues, risks and opportunities for doing things differently
  • Strong organisation skills and ability to prioritise
  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths & English
