What that means day to day

In this role, you will qualify leads, schedule meetings to understand client needs, and proactively source new opportunities. You'll follow up on leads to build a strong pipeline, develop an in-depth understanding of Alcumus solutions, and create strategies to meet annual targets. Responsibilities include:

What you’ll need to be successful

  • Qualify leads, schedule meetings, and understand client needs
  • Proactively source and follow up on new leads to build a strong pipeline
  • Develop a deep understanding of Alcumus solutions and market needs
  • Create strategies to meet annual business targets
  • Make outbound calls and follow up on marketing campaigns
  • Respond to client queries and up-sell to existing customers
  • Meet and exceed business and KPI targets
  • Implement CRM for accurate reporting
  • Collaborate with the business development team to maximize opportunities

As a Business Development Representative joining the Planet Mark team, you'll have experience of working in a B2B sales environment and will show excellent sales capability and will be able to provide a number of examples where you have secured new business and successfully managed a sales cycle.

It's important to have excellent communication skills, be a real influencer, and show a passion for sustainability and it's importance for businesses who are seeking to achieve net zero carbon status!
