What that means day to day

As a Customer Insight Specialist you will gather insight and create documentation on customers, competitors and market to drive product strategy and support sales, marketing and technology in growing new and existing products. 

What you’ll need to be successful

  • Create and manage customer persona profiles to capture key workflow information as well as pain points and opportunities to serve members better. These documents will be maintained and evolve to support the full product set, as well as input into product strategy and prioritisation decisions.
  • Gather and maintain competitor intelligence, using a range of sources. Manage this resource in a manner that can be shared with colleagues and used by other teams to support their activities.
  • Support the creation of sales enablement tools and provide input to marketing team’s lead generation activity.
  • Work with the Director of Business Intelligence to gather relevant customer profile information.
  • Act as the point-person in the business for customer and competitor analysis.
  • Any other ad hoc duties that may be required

You'll need strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel. Effective communication and presentation skills are crucial for conveying insights to stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities will help you identify and address issues. 

Additionally, business acumen, including market and customer insights, along with excellent organizational and time management skills, are essential.

A passion for continuous learning and adaptability to changing priorities will further enhance your effectiveness in this role.
