Project Manager

Remote, UK

The Project Manager role provides overall management of projects using a knowledge of industry standard methods and practises. You will be expected to produce clear documentation and be responsible for communication of small to medium size and complexity projects. You will be responsible for managing the day to day responsibilities of a project manager including monitoring of progress and identification of risks, issues concerns and appropriate escalation.

We are a global business based across the UK and North America. Our UK head offices are based in Cardiff, Stratford and Manchester. However, we have a flexible workplace policy and you'll be able to work remotely from anywhere in the UK, with occasional travel to our offices.

What that means day to day

What you’ll need to be successful

  • Develop and maintain strong communication links with key stakeholders 
  • Manage risks, issues, actions and decision logs, holding owners to account through progress
  • Ensure the project is run to time, to the expected quality and within the allocated budget
  • Create key project management documentation. To include but not limited to Initiation documents, Business Case, PID, project plan, Benefits realisation plan, RACI, RAID, lessons learned, Project closure document etc 
  • Negotiate priorities and resources to align with the Alcumus Tech and Business strategy with relevant senior managers, budget holders and external stake holders. 
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate information to ensure compliance with project brief and business case and take appropriate action if necessary 

Ideally, you'll have project management and change management experience and would have experience of delivering projects to time, budget and quality expectations.

You may also have a relevant project management qualification such as PRINCE2, agile, DSDM or agile project management experience.
