Data and analytics capabilities have made a significant leap forward in recent years.  As a result, more and more businesses are realising the benefits of utilising data warehouses, intelligence and analytics tools to make informed decisions about their workplace management and operations.

At Alcumus, we pride ourselves on working in partnership with our clients to understand their business.  As a result, we’ve become increasingly aware of how they are looking to collate the wealth of safety, risk, supply chain and property data held within their platform with wider data from across their organisation, with the ultimate aim of improving their operational and risk management strategies.

To enable our clients to harness their data and make their organisation safer, healthier and stronger, we’re delighted to introduce API functionality to our Alcumus Info Exchange software.

The term API stands for Application Programme Interface. It serves as an interface between different software programmes and facilitates their interaction through a set of rules/code that allows them to communicate with one another.

In Info Exchange terms, it serves as a secure method of extracting a wide range of data from a client’s platform and sharing this with their ERP, business intelligence or data warehouse systems.

If you would like to hear more about our API functionality and how you can connect your data with your ERP or business intelligence software, please click here to organise for a member of our team to get in touch.
