Overview
Rachel Widdows established herself as a consultancy in 2004, following a successful and varied career in the construction industry and later in consultancy. She cut her teeth in the construction industry in Hong Kong, working on the Check Lap Kok airport construction project until it opened. Currently, she has a large and varied portfolio of clients (mainly SMEs), across many sectors and provides consultancy in sustainability, environmental, health and safety and quality management issues, ranging from initial reviews, policies, strategies, procedures and risk assessments, right through to full ISO certification. She is well versed in integrated management systems (combining ISO14001/45001/9001) and has helped many clients to achieve certification. Rachel has also helped many clients to get them fit-to-tender, through helping them respond to tenders and drafting policies. Rachel has Masters degrees in both Environmental Science and Occupational Safety and Health and is a member of both the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment and the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. Rachel has a professional and practical approach to supporting her clients and has always gone the extra mile to help them; big or small. She has never advertised her services, but is always busy and that speaks for itself.
