Alyn Franklin - Chief Executive Officer
Alyn joined Alcumus in December 2015 as Chief Operating Officer and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in September 2017. He leads the management team, setting the strategy for the business and is committed to helping organisations create a safer, more sustainable world, which he has set as a clear vision for the business.
He has extensive business leadership experience within the Risk Management and Professional Services sectors. Prior to joining Alcumus, he was Chief Financial Officer at Santia and held previous senior management roles at Connaught PLC, Wincanton, Coors Brewers and Arthur Andersen. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Corporate Treasurer.
Gemma Archibald - Chief Operating Officer, SME
Gemma joined Alcumus in April 2016 as Head of Operations for SafeContractor. In 2016 she was appointed as a Director of SafeContractor and in 2018 became Managing Director of the Accreditation and Commercial Division.
In her current role of Chief Operating Officer, she is responsible for managing solutions that best meet the needs of small and medium size businesses.
Her previous experience includes senior commercial roles within National Britannia, Connaught Compliance and Santia Consulting and has also led large scale transformation projects for The Royal Mint.
Helen Jones - Chief Operating Officer, Enterprise
Helen joined Alcumus in July 2018 as Managing Director of Certification. In 2019 she was appointed as Managing Director Certification and Software Divisions. In her current role of Chief Operating Officer, she is responsible for managing solutions that best meet the needs of large organisational clients.
As a Chartered Civil Engineer, she has over 15 years’ experience in a variety of senior leadership roles across the Construction and Services sectors.
Her previous experience includes 15 years at Carillion where she held various roles that included HR Director, Head of Sustainability and prior to joining Alcumus, Group Head of Mobilisations and Demobilisations.
Tyler Davey - Chief Executive Officer, North America
Tyler joined Alcumus in October 2020 as Chief Executive Officer for North America and has more than 20 years’ experience working across both technology (delivery, technology and architecture) and business (sales, marketing and strategy). He is responsible for developing and growing the brand in the North American market, managing eCompliance and ContractorCheck and driving the business through organic and further acquisition opportunities.
He has a strong understanding of the positive impact technology brings to help improve workplace practices and business outcomes. He has led teams across North America and internationally, helping to drive consistent high growth year on year.
Prior to joining Alcumus, he was Country Director, Business Development at Amazon Web Services, and held previous senior executive roles at Microsoft, Architect Solutions and Infusion.
Tim Jackson - Chief Financial Officer
Tim joined Alcumus in June 2019 as Chief Financial Officer after almost seven years at QA Ltd, where he held the positions of Finance Director and Commercial Director. Prior to this, he worked for Goldman Sachs and Grant Thornton, where he trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
He is responsible for the Finance, Legal and Compliance teams with overall responsibility for financial planning, reporting and analysis, as well as the management of financial and compliance risk.
Tim has a Degree in Classics from Cambridge University and an MBA from INSEAD.
Val Rees - Chief People Officer
Val joined Alcumus in August 2018 as Chief People Officer following an illustrious career at Marks and Spencer, where she held numerous senior HR positions and leadership roles, latterly as Global Head of Employee Relations, Employee Wellbeing and Performance.
She is responsible for the people agenda to support business growth, driving employee engagement and making sure Alcumus is a great place to work.
She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development and brings over 30 years’ Human Resources expertise and experience to the team.
Rhys David - Chief Technology Officer
Rhys joined Alcumus in June 2021 as Chief Technology Officer and has held executive roles with global businesses and has extensive experience of building high performance teams working with businesses in the UK and globally.
His previous roles include CEO at Credas, Chief Technology Officer at Sonovate and Chief Technology Officer at Gocompare.com. Prior to this, he worked in consultancy roles with global businesses to support on technical, architectural, delivery and commercial projects.
Paul White - Chief Marketing Officer
Paul is responsible for the alignment of the go-to-market strategy across Alcumus, leading global campaigns and driving brand awareness.
He brings more than 20 years’ experience in high growth marketing and joined as SVP of Marketing in the Enterprise division in late 2020.
Kerry Edwards - Chief Strategy Officer
Kerry joins Alcumus from Capita, having worked as Customer Experience, Strategy & Product Director at the consulting firm for over four years. Kerry is well respected in the change and transformation field, with extensive experience of building high performance strategies, processes, and policies for global businesses.
Kerry will use her 25-year track record of streamlining operations and lead Alcumus in its ambitious growth journey. She will focus on accelerating the transformation of business operations and lead the execution of the ambitious strategic plans for Alcumus’ growth globally.
