We’re excited to share the news that our teams from the UK, North America and New Zealand have collectively achieved the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for The Most Pairs of People Playing Rock, Paper, Scissors at our annual employee conference in London.
Alcumus brought 680 members of its worldwide team together for the first time, after another period of successful growth, to celebrate the increasingly global proposition and footprint and to cement our culture and values among new employees across three continents and five offices.
319 pairs playing the game was a fun and exciting way to reinforce the internal value of ‘being brave’ as the team established itself as GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ record breakers, marking a memorable end to this first face-to-face get-together of our global teams in the firm’s history.
Alyn Franklin, CEO said: “At Alcumus we’re merging fantastic people and technology to deliver the best outcomes for our clients. Our values and collaborative approach play a significant part in why 45,000 SME and corporate clients chose to work with us. So, we’re always working on being a better, stronger team. Joining together at the conference was a great opportunity for us to create a fun initiative like this one and even better to be able to say we’re now part of GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ history.”
Val Rees, Chief People Officer at Alcumus said: “We’re a brilliant place to work, have highly engaged colleagues and wanted to add some fun into this year’s conference. We’re delighted to be able to all meet in person with our global teams for the first time and to end it with such a memorable achievement.”
