There’s more to ISO 9001 than just winning new business, though, as Dave explains: “Whilst we have seen a real increase in new business, the Quality Management System installed also works for our staff. It helps the business run smoother and that keeps everyone happy!”
When implementing their Quality Management System, Merriott Plastics sought help from a consultant. “Using an experienced consultant saved time, and ultimately more than paid for itself,” says Dave. “It had the added benefit of ensuring that the system we developed was based on best practice and would suit the needs of our business.”
