We're delighted to congratulate Cath Diment [Executive Assistant to our CEO Alyn Franklin] as a top five winner at the WeAreTheCity, 2020 Rising Star Awards EA & PA category. The winners showcase remarkable women from across 20 categories representing different industries and professions.

Now in their sixth year, the Rising Star Awards focus on the achievements of women below Senior Management or Director level and were introduced to recognise female talent and create female 100 role models across different industries and professions. The 2020 Awards received over 1,000 entries and judged by a panel of over 40 independent judges. Over 35,000 public votes were received for the 200 shortlisted nominees from 115 countries.

The 2020 winners join an alumni of 550 previous winners. Over the past four years and with the support of leading organisations, WeAreTheCity has been able to highlight the achievements these 550 women (450 in the UK, 100 in India) through the Rising Star Award’s process.

Due to the current circumstances, the awards ceremony was a little different this year, with a virtual awards evening for all winners, sponsors and judges on 30 July. Hosted by Julia Streets, CEO of Streets Consulting, winners were also joined at the virtual event by Sally Phillips, British comic actress and writer to celebrate.
